This easy and fun water activity lets you glide across the surface of Lake Biwa by pedaling. With space for up to four people,
it’s perfect for families and friends to enjoy a leisurely ride while taking in the beautiful lake scenery.
The controls are very simple—just use the handle to steer.
The boat is stable, making it safe even for families with small children. It’s a great way to enjoy a relaxing “mini lake cruise.

Biwamasu (Lake Biwa trout) is a famous local delicacy in Shiga Prefecture,
known for its melt-in-your-mouth fatty texture and mild flavor. In this activity,
you’ll place Biwamasu on your pizza and bake it in a real pizza oven for an authentic experience!

This activity lets you experience a classic winter tradition—scooping smelt (wakasa gi) in Lake Biwa.
At night, smelt gather near the light, and you can scoop them up with a net using a simple, traditional method.
It’s a fun and safe experience for everyone, regardless of age.
The smelt you catch can be lightly fried in your room,
and you can enjoy them with your favorite seasoning made at the free Spice Lab to create your own unique flavor.
